Sorry I haven't had any new art to post, but things have been crazy busy with the comic and Stern Pinball! So, here's more old stuff. Robots are timeless.

It is a great picture but I don't know if it is suppose to be based on the movie "Metropolis" from 1927 or if it is your own creation.

Thank you! It's not necessarily meant to be a direct reference to the movie, but more in the sense that it's a literal giant city full of giant robots. Although I suppose most of the drawings I do have been influenced by that movie in some way!

In the original movie's release in the U.S. they largely cut out the social commentary and made it look like more of a "We will replace all the workers with robots" movie,and Fritz Lang was very angry about this and for a long time didn't want to talk about the movie in interviews.

That's a bummer! Glad it's available in its original version. I also saw on a version on Netflix in which they replace the original score with 80s pop music. Not sure about that one, but it at least sounds interesting!

Oh yeah, Queen. This version also lacks the material but it shure is a nice interpretation
There is a german documentary called "Voyage to Metropolis",if you are interested,talking about the architecture and the inspirations of Fritz (it even features an interview with him from the 1970's) all while
mixing in the sorry of the restoration.It was a nice watch for me.
