Go Sega! For the site Sega Addicts, I did a feature imagining Sega characters in Capcom's style for a "Sega vs Capcom" fighting game. Sorry to disappoint! Β I never played Valkyria Chronicles, so he wasn't high on the list. Β Though I had planned on drawing more of these before I ran out of time to keep it going, so I think Vyse would have made it in at some point!

Yeah, I figured I wouldn't draw them, since most of them have already been done in this style for Vs games by Capcom. Β I really just wanted to see Sega's characters in Capcom's style!

Glad you dig this one! Β I'm a huge nut for Sega, and I love Capcom's art style, so it's been a dream of mine to see them team up to create a crossover fighting game. Β Too bad it'll never happen in a million billion years.

You read my mind! Β I've been dying for a Sega mash-up fighting game forever. Β The closest we got was Fighters Megamix on the Sega Saturn, but it mostly just used Fighting Vipers and Virtua Fighter characters.

Sega has so many gem characters it's ridiculous that we haven't gotten a smash bros styled game from them.

Hopefully Sega will start re-visiting their older properties again, at least as XBLA or PSN games. I'm dying for a new Streets of Rage, Alex Kidd, Ristar or--dare I say it?--Eternal Champions game.

That's true! Β I had actually bought a used copy of the game just the year before for the Genesis, before they put it on that collection. Β I had only played it a little when I was a kid--around the time it came out, me and my brother were way into fighting games, so we didn't play a lot of platformers anymore.
