Description
Strawberry Shortcake and WilyKit, from my post-Apocalyptic 80s toy storyline.Shortcake's the humorless leader of the Rebellion against Brainy Smurf. Never far from her is Kit, a strange, cat-like child found near her dead twin brother after the war. She's emotionless and mute, but follows Shortcake everywhere she goes.

Oh, yeah--I loved Animaniacs! I loved all those WB cartoons: Tiny Toon Adventures, Freakazoid... never got into Toonsylvania, though. And I don't think anybody else did, either.

Yeah, not a lot of people really cared for it, I don't think. It was Spielberg's shortest running cartoon, if I remember right. It was a cartoon variety show "hosted" by Igor in a castle.

oh oh oh i found a clip and i remember it now... i used to LOVE the hell out of it [i liked a lot of unloved cartoons as a kid lol] now i am going to have too look up episodes cause i miss those time of cartoons... just had an animaniacs marathon at our friends house.. just because i wanted to watch one episode lol

Sweet! Yeah, I don't remember much from Toonsylvania--I'll have to look those up again. Ah, Animaniacs! I loved that show. My sister's got it on DVD, so it was fun watching it again. That and Beast Machines. I've been on an old-school cartoon kick lately.

I might have to recreate the costume for Wicked Faire 2011....I think my mom still has all of my Strawberry Shortcake dolls in a box somewhere. I had all the original ones, not the recreated crap they came out with.....this is just gorgeous. I might talk a friend into recreating the Brite costume. Yes, we'll send pics if we manage to do it. The costumes, that is.
