Your green are different
May be this picture..
Take a picture with background white
totaly white
Take a angel statue with background white
Put the texture over the picture into photoshop
Now follow the steps:
1-Photoshop - layers - choose multiply
Now adjust the light in:
1-Photoshop - image - adjustament - choose exposure - use exposure for light - after use gamma for dark the image
Take a picture mine and traine
I will put now this image for you

Aww, I'm so sorry you don't like it. I know the color is not beautiful at all, but I thought, it fits to the title.
The picture I used above does not have a white background and it's not high resolution, it's an image taken by handy.
Thank you so much for helping me. 
I use Gimp - it's similar to Photoshop. I don't use the English version so I firstly have to find out about the options for expoure you've mentioned, if I use the right ones.
I've downloaded the two pictures of you with the white background and I am going to follow your description.
