Description Gallade is trying to show off his mega to get Gardevoir's attention. Oh how those blades do more damage than attracting her.

What is A kirlia doing in a bar you say? How do you know how old the Kirlia I say.

This is an amazing piece of art, its great, although not perfect, but first the pros.

I love the lopunny in the background, I was always a fan of the little details. the face on the lopunny is just amazing. Also the faceial exprsions are great, very detailed, for a second I thought this was a screen shot from the anime!

But with every bonus there comes a con.

I don't really like how the open mouths are, there very detailed but they just don't seem good, must be the theeth, also the spike from gardevoir is down too much. and the Kirlia seems a bt too small.

I cant give too many points for Originality because its a fan art.

other then that this is very good.

7/10

You add a lot of texture to this drawing i love your interpretation of a real situation with pokemon, the coloring of the background you also have other great art works, it seems that this drawing can lead to another scene as this gallade tries to hit on gardivor, its my idea but something like that can happen either mirala gets made and fights gallade or something very dramatic happens next, but all and all you are a great artist and you have alot of potential to make more im rooting for it keep up the good work can't wait to see the next drawing piece (e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="392" title=" (Smile)"/>

I disagree, there is no such thing as a perfect art,

It's fine if you think that but perfection is in the eye's of the beholder, perfection can be considered in many thing, like life, or artwork, or your lifestyle, it depends on how you see it

Overall, I don't see many negative things about this artwork. It's a very good piece. These particular Pokemon, Gallade and Gardevoir are frequently humanized, but I find many other artworks sexualise them too much. So the story and feel behind this image are refreshing. You've balanced the humanized Pokemon with emotive aspects - as well as executed the anatomy in a much more professional and realistic way than most other artists have done. The image doesn't look rushed and while the colouring and shading are fantastic - I do find the reflections a little awkward in places. Perhaps, the only negative is the potentially overused reflections. Still, this image is a breath of fresh air. It's not awkward like many similar arts, has plenty of effort put into it, and has a good story behind it. I personally appreciate this image greatly. Good work.

Well, it is a very ncie picture, but Gallade and Gardevoir look too humany, with the chiselled features and the realistic neck-thingies...
Pokemon isn't in the real wold, and you should express that in your art! Apart from that, everything else works nicely. The colouring and shading technique, the setting looks nice, but what are those little crescent shape-thingies on Gallade, gardevoir and Kirlia's heads? I'm assuming they're sweat makrs, but it's hard to tell... NOW I AM JUST FILLING UP THE COMMENT WITH RANDOM WORDS BECAUSE I RAN OUT OF THINGS TO CRITIQUE AND I NEEDED SOME MORE WORDS!

What's so wrong about having a particular art style??
If every single fanart picture was drawn in the original pokΓ©mon art style, it would be boring because nothing would be unique.

And at least this person draws their own art and didn't just post edits of official art, so you really shouldn't be complaning about how this persons style is too human-ish.

No those are definitely suppose to be Eye brows to represent facial features and to give the two Pokemon facial expressions . Some people in this critique need to re read the basic definition of art. Its self expression if your going toΒ critique someone first look at their art from their eyes and try to envision what they were trying to create Β and express, don't say its not meant to look like that or its to human. Art is an expression of ones own imagination. Take my comment with a grain of salt and learn from it. Think of it as a self Critique.

"Neck Thingies"... I believe that's called the collarbone.....
Also I think the "Crescent Things" are meant to represent eyebrows to add extra expression to the image, And if every artist that drew fan-art for the "Pokemon" franchise stood true to the original animation style there would not be much diversity among the literally thousands of images populating the interweb.

I don't agree with the critique because this is the artist's style, it's not fair to say it should be more like Pokemon style because again, ultimately this is the artist's style. I personally love this and what makes this piece of art so unique, is that it is eye catching and a different take on the original.

It's nartural to have a picture be anthropomorphized. It adds a lot of character to the picture. Also, it's very clear regardless of the human features which pokemon these are. Gardevoir's front fin looks slightly out of place, but that's all that stands out as objectionable to me. It's very nice. Tres bien.

Lol, Anyword works, but i can totally see the message there.

Them humany Pokemon is really just how i see them ^^, so it's a part of the art.

Not sure what you're talking about(crescent shape-thingies), it's either the Highlights of their slippery heads or the Lines that are already there from looking at a natural Gardevoir/Gallade/Kirlia.

I came to question as to whether the pokemon stories take place on earth. Somebody said they do, BUT real lands & real species are very rarely mentioned.

In one fan-fic, the pokemon world has been destroyed by the Heartless, and now they're aiming for Burbank. It's up to Yakko Warner, who was gifted with a keyblade, to save HIS world -despite the public being ever more convinced that he is dangerously insane, even to his siblings.

This fan-fic :Strange Things Happening, was abandoned & then deleted by its author/artist. Like too many fan-fics lately...

THAT's one reason for my hesitating to invest in any new fan-fickery.

And you're telling me that Gallade has a little brother/sister, this has a lot of texture and I have been a PokΓ©mon fan for the first 8 months and I already know that Fairy and Psychic-type moves are super effective to a Fighting-type and other similar ones.
