This totally makes sense, not just from a shipping standpoint. After all, dragons and unicorns are the two most famous mystical creatures ever. They each represent the genders and the mannerisms and ideals they exercise. The dragon is powerful and masculine and represents power, passion, anger, and sometimes greed. Meanwhile, the unicorn stands for feminine intrigue, beauty, love, purity and benevolence toward all living things.
