Remember Jervis Tetch from Batman The Animated Series? upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia⦠www.toonzone.net/anbat/btas/ma⦠Well, guess who I'm going to be for Halloween? I was trying to find our decorations when I stumbled upon one of my costume bins and in it was my unfinished "Mad Hatter" costume. (thought of doing this last year, but I didn't have everything) So I spent a few days putting things together and viola! Jervis Tetch.The shirt, pants, coat and shoes were located at my local Salvation Army. The spats, gloves, bow, and hat were purchased. I dyed the bow (clowns bow) black and sewed back the corners. The hat got a new blue ribbon and 10/6 card and I also added new buttons to the dark blue coat.
I like to think I'm reusing clothing by finding costumes this way... but really I can't sew and I'm just lazy...

I like this costume though. It looks almsot EXACTLY like the B:TAS version of jervis....you know before the fourth season.

About two years, a cost of 100 dollars, and a couple days labor. The thing is this costume is nice and warm-- its not made from that flimsy material that most costumes you buy are made from.

Yes, it bugged me to no end... I just ripped it off and didn't re-hot glue it.

honestly though, i would make a pretty crappy alice to your tetch. i mean seriously, a six-foot 215lb. alice would look pretty funky. mespecially next to a fairly normal-sized tetch

I think the convention is early September next year. And I will make sure to take picture. I plan to go and meet there and cosplay both Fright and my OC (Mistress of Fear) Rook with her as she will be cosplaying Scarecrow. :3 She plays Jon on an RP I'm a part of and now also an Admin of...and Anna "Rook" Craven is his love interest.

i found a few on ebay who have the wig with the bangs over the left eye but we have 3 halloween stores here that sell bokus. So i should be able to find one
