Whereas for some of the bumpers advertising Inside Out follow a pattern with quotes such as;
"Say Hello to Joy."
"Say Hello to Sadness."
"Say Hello to Anger."
"Say Hello to Disgust."
"Say Hello to Fear."
For this devil, the quote would instead be;
"Drive out Vice at all costs!"
I had quite a lot of fun drawing this cover, and for a prototype, I'm quite satisfied with the results. Though it took me a little bit of adjusting to complete it.
Basically, I took the concept of Riley's Five Emotions inside a silhouette of Riley's head like in the image used for the French DVDs,

Removed the five of them and in their place, I have Vice gripping Riley's skull to the point where it looks like it would crack.

Interesting choice, but for me, my idea for his theme would start off a little more subtle and then gradually grow more threatening with this;

Man, those crack lines are boss!
How did you learn to make them so?

They're based on a combination of cracks on glass with blood vessels channeling across the eyes. My favorite part was making the face and using his very head to make the letter V to piece together his name.
