Another Bambi photomanip inspired by my friend Feathervenom's fanfic, "The Untaken Path".

These are my characters, Lihua and Nacht, flirting and scheming in the woods Based on a scene where Lihua is telling Nacht that she's going into estrus...

How I did it

Both screencaps that were used in making the deer are from the first Bambi movie; they are Bambi himself. Of course, with Lihua, I hate to flip her around and cut off the antlers. Then I just recolored her. I did redraw her eye to make her look more Oriental (she is Chinese). All I really did with Nacht was recolor him and did the old cut and flip on the right antler. Well, I also changed his expression---in the original screencap, he was frowning---he looks scarier when he smiles anyway.

Putting them together on the BG (from Bambi II) was tricky. They were of different sizes, Nacht on the bottom being way larger then Lihua, so I had to make her bigger and draw some extra leg (original screencap only went down to the knees). One they look proportionate, I took them to GIMP (had them in MS Paint the whole time) and had them blended, darkened, shaded and highlighted.
