Name: Quazaar (pronounced KWAY-ZAR)

Meaning: Named after an active galactic nucleus called a 'quasar'; a compact region in the center of a massive galaxy surrounding its central supermassive black hole.

Age: About 15 in horse years (45 in human years)

Color: White with irregular copper-lined black markings and a "badger face" marking.
[A badger face marking is usually the result of a skewed sabino pattern. It resembles a reverse blaze.]

Breed: He's just a horse. He thinks it ridiculous how horses separate each other by breed and color

Personality: Very quirky. Because he's new to the planet, everything fascinates him. From eating an apple to something as simple as walking is all new and wonderful to him. Because he's 'new', he can also act like a big baby when things don't go his way, and can sometimes even throw tantrums. But he's perfectly harmless. Not a fighter, but he will defend himself if need be. He thinks he's gorgeous, dashing, brilliant. Because of his vast knowledge of the universe, he truly believes that no creature is smarter then him. Very arrogant fellow. Tends to get very paranoid if anyone even mentions the word 'alien'.

Likes: Learning and discovering as much about life on Earth as he possibly can.

Dislikes: When someone challenges his intelligence, stupid Earth-creatures.

Bio: Quazaar is an Alien from a distant galaxy in a far-off solar system. He was sent to Earth to study the dominant species. However, his information was off, and he thought horses were the dominant species. Therefore, he came to Earth as a horse. It's his mission to discover and document the life cycle of the 'dominant' species and report back to his planet. His planet doesn't wish to destroy Earth, they just want to learn about it. In his true form, he is a lime-green squid-like creature. The 'fleshy horse covering' hides his true identity.

Though it's not in his mission, Quazaar wants to experience love and is currently searching for a girlfriend. He feels one can't truly understand these creatures without experiencing everything they do, including love. He can speak in all Earth-languages (human languages included). Unfortunately, he doesn't know that horses aren't supposed to talk to humans (which tends to freak out a lot of people).

He learns eventually that humans are the dominant species, and is tempted to contact his home planet to get a new human body. Problem is...he really likes being a horse (he thinks humans are hideous, and he just loves being gorgeous!) Every horse he meets thinks he's very strange, but mares seem to like him, despite his quirkiness.

He can NOT let ANYONE know what he truly is, and must keep his real identity a secret, even to the mare he eventually falls in love with. No one on Earth can find out he's an alien; that would be disastrous to his mission.

His spaceship, which is equipped with a cloaking device, is safely hidden at the bottom of the grand canyon.
