Description
This is Thunder, the father of the ThunderHearts herd. He bears the mark of the ThunderHearts across his chest. Only true ThunderHearts bear this mark. It sets them apart from all other horses. (yes, it's a Star of David and yes, the ThunderHearts are the Jews of the horse-world )

This was his mate, Heart:

Basically, Thunder was the first horse to ever believe in one G-D, and because of his loyalty to the Almighty One, he was blessed with a beautiful mare and little piece of land just for Thunder and his children and his children's children for all time. They would have everlasting protection and peace in this land flowing with grain and apples...as long as they obeyed the Laws of the ThunderHearts... the main law being No Outside Horses May Enter the Land, lest it become soiled.

Of course, Thunder's son Tornado broke the law, and instead of accepting the blessed mare that was given to him, he instead invited in a foreign mare and bore a son with her instead. That son was named Twister (and he is one twisted horse!). Twister does NOT bear the mark of the ThunderHearts. The blessed mare was so upset, she left the ThunderHearts valley. She joined a neighboring herd called the PrairieTrotters. When Twister took over the herd at the time of his father's death, he gathered mares from all the lands that surrounded the valley and bred bastard foals with them. Only a small handful of ThunderHearts followers remain, praying for the day the true leader returns.

Only the true leader born of the blessed mare of the PrairieTrotter's herd can defeat Twister and take take back the land to cleanse it of the evil ones who pervade it.

This 'savior' that the true ThunderHearts wait for is called "CYCLONE". And he is a very reluctant (and HUGE) prophet!

Thunder's mate was Heart, and she was, naturally, the mother of the ThunderHearts herd (her design coming soon).

Thunder is a glorious appaloosa stallion with deep blue eyes, a spikey mane and the most loyal heart of any horse that had ever lived.
