Here's a bunch of sketches I did a while ago.As you all know I am a very huge fan of Peter Pan, I just fell in love with him..
I've done some drawings close to the Disney version of Peter but honestly I always knew that version wasn't right to me.
You all know that image you get in your head when you're reading something? Well, this version of Peter Pan is much much closer to the image I get when I read the book.
It was mostly inspired by the 2003 movie of Peter Pan, exept I made Peter slightly younger. In the film Peter is almost a young teen and in my head he is very much still a boy.
But no one knows for sure of course.
I'll give him blond hair but I'm not sure about the eye-colour yet. Brown is more cocky I think (which suits him
) but blue or green is more magical to me.I also gave him a little feather because my friend gave me a papercut version of Peter for my birthday and in that picture he had a little feather and I like that very much

Zal ik wat zeggen? Die grote Tinkerbell is volgens mij je eerste figuur dat je echt vrouwelijk en sexy getekend hebt. Ze is niet alleen maar sexy aangekleed en dan met zo'n onwetend gezicht erboven dat in het niets staart, maar ze kijkt echt scherp en een tikje ondeugend, en dat past heel goed bij Tink!
Ik zou Peter ook vaker 'scherp' en 'in actie' tekenen. Die schets linksbovenin vind ik het meest geslaagd. Hij staat op het punt om wat te zeggen en wat te gaan doen. De grote Peter vind ik er een beetje uitzien alsof ie high is... Hij staart in het niets en hij doet niets.
Natuurlijk zijn het schetsen, en geen complete tekeningen, maar aangezien Peter in je nieuwste tekening ook naar mijn idee wat 'glazig' kijkt en weinig actie onderneemt (terwijl Peter constant in actie is), zou ik je wel als tip willen geven om er wat meer actie in te stoppen, ook in de houdingen.
Bijvoorbeeld: Peter die boos is of verontwaardigd. En nog gaver: Peter in gevechtshouding met vlammende ogen.
Ga je trouwens ook kapitein Haak tekenen? Ben wel benieuwd hoe je dat in deze stijl zou doen. En een groepje slimme jongens zou ook gaaf zijn, in die dierenpakken.

Je hebt wel gelijk weet je, met die 'actie' dingen.
Ik ben wel van plan om dat meer te gaan doen. De reden waarom ik er zo op gebrand was om Peter zo goed mogelijk vanuit mijn hoofd op papier te krijgen was omdat ik illustraties wil maken. Gewoon wat willekeurige scenes nemen en die tekenen.
In die scenes moet er natuurlijk wel actie zijn dus ik ga mijn best doen. En ik kan geen scenes maken zonder andere personages dus ik zal oefenen op Haak en de verloren jongens.

I'll make her appear (in some drawings) as if she's a dancer! I gave her dress sorta of a tutu and i'll make her dance in a sensual yet elegant way!
