Gernerally it is supposed to mean any sort of tumblr leftist as it did in the beginning, but with the time I realized you can get called a "SJW" for any reason.- Do you support people having some human decency? You are a SJW.
- Are you LBGTQA+? And/or mentally ill? You are a SJW (no kidding I got labeled one solely for this reason).
- Are you against right-wing ideologies in any way, form or shape? You are a SJW.
- Are you pro-choice? You are a SJW.
- Do you find egalitarianism flawed and pointless despite not being yourself a right-winger? You are a SJW.
- Do you support animal welfare? You are a SJW.
- Do you support feminism? You are a SJW.
- Are you egalitarian but not right-wing? Don't care, you are a SJW anyway.
Bonus if people tell you "go back to tumblr" and such.
This word has probably as much meaning as "commie" and "liberal" nowadays.

Perhaps my old comment isn't as cancerous as most of my old comments on this site are. Who knows, I am not reading it bcs it gets my stomach on knots to remember those years of my life.
Trans people definitely should not be misgendered nor treated badly. What a wonderful thing to assume, of me who am trans and who has trans friends and mutuals that I love deeply and who helped me feel less empty and invisible. Even tho I hate calling myself that bcs it feels like it just puts me in some kind of box. I prefer to think I am just deeply feminine (in more than just one way) yet inherently male, and sometimes I don't quite see myself in what nature has given me, causing me to uncomfortably squirm in my exsistence. Idk but I have a terrible aversion towards calling myself "trans". And that's where it just goes a bit off-topic. Pardon me.
I am, well, certainly one of the few people you'll ever come across that aren't transphobic at all.

Ugh yep. I once browsed the anti-sjw tag on Tumblr, and I was expecting to find some actually reasonable critizism towards social justice stuff these days, but ohhhhh nopey nope, I didn't find anything constructive at all. What I found was some transphobia and rape-advocating, and also massive ignorance about mental illnesses. And also this whole "did I triggur sum spesul snowflaek!" thing was quite popular amongst them.
The same goes with anti-feminists, I also tried to find some reasonable critizism towards the feminism movement from their posts, but again, mostly rape-advocating and "well girls, who is stopping you? I'm a white man and I've never seen girls get discriminated!!11" type stuff. What a massive disappointment.
These people only made sure I will still continue to sympathize with feminists and social justice people more than them.

There are actually good reasons to criticize some brands of feminism and social justice such as white liberal leftism, anti-Muslim, Western centric or transphobic feminists, or leftists who are Holocaust deniers and call the LGBTA+ movement a Western instrument of capitalism, and most of it comes from other feminists and social justice supporters themselves.
"Anti-SJWs" and the like do not do that. They only want to find ways to demonize and ridicule these movements and the people these are aimed at. It was of no surprise to find out they support shaming teenage girls who are vocal against sexist dress codes telling that they should be grateful of not living in a "third-world" country where they'd get killed and raped over it. Of course, as if they do actually give a fuck about said countries other than using them as a weapon against the "SJWs".
These so called "Anti-SJWs" simply hate minorities and marginalized people, especially teenage ones.
