Nightcrawler x ReaderChapter One
Whitest Gloves
She didn't talk much. The blue-furred teleporter didn't even know what her mutation was, he didn't think anyone did, except for maybe the professor. But she was an X-Man. He had seen her fight- she had some ridiculous moves. Β At first he had thought she was a teleporter too, but when he approached her, she merely shook her head and walked off, leaving the poor guy confused as ever.
But he saw it next battle. She melted down the metal handcuffs that bound her. And the chair she was sitting in. And the wall. The Nightcrawler didn't quite understand what made her so ashamed of her powers, until a couple of grunts came through and she melted them too. It was horrifying. Their skin and bones melted away into a crimson puddle on the floor that Nightcrawler made sure to teleporter over. _______ was not so lucky. She had it all over her hands. When Kurt grabbed onto her so as to teleport away she avoided him.
"If the blood touches you it will hurt." She explained, her voice low and smooth. Kurt tossed her his gloves and she slipped them on, not meeting his gaze. Soon they had everyone and were back at the school. Nightcrawler needed new gloves, his old ones were burned through in multiple places from the acidic liquid that the human body melted into- he avoided thinking about it. It made him feel sorta sick.
You were outside sitting on the cliff singing a tune to yourself. Something you must have heard before you- you couldn't think about it. Of course the only other thing to think about was the mission today. You had kept your powers a secret- they were disgusting. All of a sudden there wasn't a choice and you had to melt them- otherwise you would have died. Nightcrawler's cuffs were locked onto the location- he couldn't have ported away. Unfortunately like most people, the enemy thought that you were a teleporter as well- you prided yourself on your speed and agility- and the handcuffs did nothing to suppress your powers. Then you ruined his gloves which you felt bad about, not bad enough to make you feel any crippling remorse, but you would apologize some day. A noise that sounded something like 'bamf' assaulted your ears. Looks like some day was today.
"Sorry about your gloves." You say, turning slightly to see Kurt standing there smiling.
"No promblem, mein Freunde. Gloves are easy to replace, ja? Skin, not so much." You nodded, turning back around to look out on the ocean. You hear his teleport noise- the familiar 'bamf'- and assume he left. You must have offended him, but a few minutes better he was back with two beers. One for you, one for him. You nodded your thanks, taking one and attempting to twist off the cap and cutting your palm. You swore loudly, and Kurt plopped down next to you. His tail sound around and opened your bottle, the hard side of the spade on the end effortlessly popping the top off. "Thanks. Again." You say, taking a swig of the earthy liquid. He nods, doing the same to his own drink.
"Do you come out here often?" He asks, his eyes following something splashing in the water. "Whenever I can." You respond, "Helps me think, helps me cope. You see some fucked up shit out there, especially with this job." You didn't mean to say that much, but the usually peaceful silence was making you anxious. The thing splashing in the water was making more noise now, and you glared down at it, willing it to shut up. However you weren't a telepath. It splashed on. And on. Wait a second- "Was ist that?" Asked Kurt, moving to crouch on the rocky ledge. You shrugged and were about to suggest that you two move inside when a slimy tentacle shot out and you were all of a sudden back on the steps of the school, two gloved hands gripping you tightly, and suddenly the two of you were back on the ledge staring down at the biggest, ugliest creature you had ever seen.

I love this but I have a few german suggestions.
1. meine Freunde (the femininity applies to both mein and Freunde)
2) I'd suggest, for this story, removing. 'Was ist that?' For the main.purpose that was is also english, or change it to 'Was ist das?' (The full German)

Yes hello autocorrect is a thing I do actually take German I'm rather proud to say there was no Google translate involved unlike some of my earlier works from a few years ago. And thank you also I'm probably coming off as snappy but I'm not intending to be.
