Karma is seen as a short female earth pony, with a beige/tanned coat, dark brown
(with a gold highlight in each) mane and tail, and dark brown eyes. She's overweight, lazy,
acts far tougher then she actually is, and is fiercely loyal. Her cutie mark is a gold beam scale.
She wears her mane and tail in "pony-tail" fashion. Karma prefers to stay back with a multitude
of ranged weapons, and absolutely loathes having to fight up close and personal. She is a good
shot, and is used as the group's sniper. Even though she sees herself being friends with the
whole group (except for Static of course) she's closer to Stance Dance and Rainy Day. Her
and Psych Ward seem to 'love to hate one another', usually to the group's amusement.
Karma is the only pony of the group to wear a Pipbuck which she uses S.A.T.S to help
her aim. She has a bad habit of forgetting to activate or even pay attention to E.F.S.

lol I like how "Relationship Status" comes before "Gender", like being single is one of the most important things about her

JUSTICE SCALES HORSE this is a good horse you have here. I am appreciating her cutie mark a lot wow. (I'm a law student so when I saw it I got excited because yay for justice or something)

I think it's a really cool idea. So lemme guess, then... she seeks out those who do bad things and exacts revenge- negative 'Karma' on them? One scale is always higher than the other, though... I haven't quite figured out why that is. After I've finished Fallout Equestria, I guess I'll have to read Karma's story and find out! I like her, anyway. She looks badass.

I havent wrote in exactly what Karma's talent completely is as of yet, but what I have written does
give a few hints! You are *insanely* close though! And if you do read it, let me know what you think!
But you did notice that one scale is higher than the other, that is also very specific! Your really good at this. lol

An earth pony OC? And a "Fallout: Equestria" one at that? I love it! I particularly like natural, neutral colours (mares with that are rare to find, in both canon and OCs), and you mind a pony have it's mane in a ponytail look good. Finally, I love the cloak you gave her and that you put the web colours for the ponies in the reference. My own OC, a dragon, has both a canon universe and Fallout Equestria incantation. Ok, that extra bit was pointless.

Thank you! I actually designed her hair alot after the way I normally keep my hair. Along with the streak and everything.
Ive yet to make a dragon OC! I should really do that at some point....

I used to have my hair in a high ponytail all the time as a child. I realized a few years ago that the low ponytail is far easier and my thin hair is less messy. How could I have been doing it wrong for so long! People with thicker hair look good with a high ponytail I think, and while I'm not one for appearance, I love long hair and men with ponytails look cool .
Well, it's not really based on the canon dragons. There's actually a little story behind her, if you're interested.

Ive found that having my ponytail too high, caused me headaches, but if I had it too low, it would irritate the back of my neck and I'd spend all day flinging my head back and forth trying to get rid of it. lol. So a nice in-the-middle ponytail made things much easier. Its how I normally wear my hair now, and while at work I usually keep it in a bun.
I donated some hair to Locks of Love a few years back, and the lady accidentally chopped me up to my shoulders, and I cried. x.x heh
And sure! I am always looking for more reading material.

Ah, I had that too. I thought I was (even more of) a weirdo. I'm the opposite there though. I hate my hair getting my fave or even just being completely loose (as in, on each side of my face) so even when I have it down, I always have it tucked behind my ears.
Heh heh, I'm the same there too. I'm very protective over my hair. My regular hairdresser still tries to get away with more than an inch every time, and every time it's a no. Just cut it enough to be healthy and I'm fine.
Ok. I've always loved dragons and MLP since childhood (well, apart from leading to the creation of G4, G3 can go to hell). I still have my G1 toys, and one of my bookcases is exclusively for stories and series featuring dragons (and it's pretty full), along with a display case full of figurines of them as well.
However, as petty as this is, the general appearance of adult dragons in MLP just did not appeal to me. I like them on their own, but when it came to making an OC/MLPersona, they were too bulky, brightly coloured, and large for my liking (well, the bright colours are not so bad, considering ponies are the same). I thought of a way to make mine look like the way it was in my head - an 'original species' called Desert Dragons. Actually, they are simply the cousins of the common dragons and they are not some stupid hybrid, or food or element-based cliché, just a simple (and clearly explained) race of dragons that dwell in the deserts of Saddle Arabia.
It seemed natural that they would be small and have natural colours (browns, tans, creams, and the rarity of white) due to their environment. No, a fantasy world or a world of magic does not mean this can be dismissed. Even the most outlandish stories need some form of realism. I made my character based on those rules I had set up for the race and how I would look (being that I am rather short and slim). I even worked some of my own issues, such as my poor eyesight, into her story, and despite the desert setting, I’ve even worked in a few features of Scottish family culture. I'm still a bit stumped on her backstory, though, and I'm usually goood at that. The "Fallout: Equestria" one is proving far easier for some reason, and is nearly complete.
Finally, since childhood, as far too serious as this as this will sound I knew I would also like to keep my fingers and have wings. I would hate to be a pony, or even lose those precious opposable thumbs. Writing with one's mouth would get tiring after a while.
I just wish I could commission someone to draw her (I've been a writer since three and wrote my first, tiny story at six), but I have no means to buy things online (like the points on DA) or the money to do so.

If I thought I could do the character justice, I would definately offer, but sadly Im lacking in the dragon-drawing-skill department.
But, I can say, that I definately do appreciate the thought put into characters that are designed more naturalistic rather than super fancy. Super fancy is all fun and games sometimes, until you get into some real eye-burners. Not that it isnt fun to design super freaky characters from time to time, but sometimes you want something that is just pleasant to the eye, nothing too overly unique, and just plain nice and simple. Not everything in Equestria is going to be super unique in colors or style!
Sadly, I think people are a little too bent on trying to make themselves super-special-snowflakes. What I dont think a lot of people really understand that while every snow flake is unique in their own special way, not every single snowflake stands out like a neon sign. Sometimes, finding something special in the every day normal snowflake amongst the many makes that particular snowflake even more special to you.
Not everyone can be a Twilight, or a Rainbow Dash, or even a Pinkie Pie, lol. Sometimes, we are simply Bon Bons, or Carrot Tops, ect.

It's fine. I would not be so selfish as to ask a complete stranger to draw something for me without giving them someone in return. Nor am I one of those people who goes "But I suck at drawing and you draw so good!". Yes, I will admit to getting jealous of the drawing, painting, and sculpting talents of others, but I still have my writing as my main talent and I am happy with that. I still hope I'll be able to commission her one day. I feel like the only person who's OC profiles (and characters/stories in general) are completely writing based. I don't think there's a single DA user who's only submissions are writing (and if there is, I must look through their gallery). As an artist might have various pictures everywhere, I have a USB is filled with nothing but six years worth of writing.
I have made requests from good friends before now, and get around the "just hand me a picture" thing, I'll give them the description, which is usually far over-detailed, but it's because I'm a pedantic little shit (though I do tone such things down for stories), along with any visual references I have found to help give the artist a better picture.
Indeed. Another good thing about natural or toned down colours is that it makes more room for customization, such as the colours of accessories or clothes. Brightly or rainbow-coloured creatures would always have to wear a colour that compliments their skin, or coat, or scales, unless they want to look garish or do not mind the clashing.
Yup. The main thing I hate about OCs who are trying to be special is when they heavily involve them with, or outright insert them into the canon story. If it is set after or before the main story, than fair enough, but it just annoys me when people make OCs and pretend there were in the story the whole time. I make my OCs have their own lives, apart from the main story. In fact, my characters hardly ever interact with canon characters (well, minor ones are interacted a fair amount of times). To me, it just reeks of a lack of creativity and makes the character nothing more than a prop attached to canon ones. It stops them being a character in their own right.
As for Canon X OC, I can't stand unless it is very well written and makes sense in regards to the story. I don't have any problem with people tweaking canon (and I hate these people think you have to support what's canon and what the author intended, or you are not a fan. So criticism is not allowed? I've only seen one such Major Canon x OC that was well-written, made sense, and flowed from the pre-estamished story naturally and interestingly. The romance feels real.
However, Minor Canon X OC? I love that. Minor characters need love too and there is so much more freedom with them. One of my OCs from another fandom is (sort-of) paired with a minor canon character, in that my OC has a crush on her. However, that is certainly not all that defines her.
Sorry about the rambling/long comment. It's a bit of thing for me.

I can say that you have intrigued me a bit....if you dont mind, may I request you note me the some of the info you have on your species / character? I would love to read it, and if I *do* end up having time, I might even give it a shot. Usually when it comes to my art I either come up with something completely random, but I think it may do me some good for practice in the future maybe to give it a shot.
Most of my characters also live their own entirely separate lives. Ive had a few visit Ponyville, but never had them have any interaction with the main shows characters, I like to think that the entire Equestria world shouldnt be completely revolved around the Main Six. Yeah, I have my favorite of the six, but doesnt mean Im going to have my OC suddenly be her best friend!
(In my story though, I have made her Pipbuck's original owner, one of the Orange family members. )
And I also do love Minor OC love! They totally need more love and I really enjoy seeing the stories people put together for them. Gives them so much more character and details. Probably why I end up drawing minor characters when it comes to the sketches Ive done. Some Ive posted here, others Ive just thrown into my sketch folder in my PC lol.
There has been very few stories Ive read involving the Main Six and OCs that Ive liked. Same with comics. It has to be *VERY* well done. Writing style comes into a lot of factor here. I can admit some pairing are super cute, but...really nothing much more than that as far as actual interest goes. More like, Aw. Thats cute. Moving on.
And its perfectly okay to ramble! I enjoyed the read.

Well, thank you . I won't sent the whole profile just yet, especially because of how long it is, but I will send the species description, her appearance, the references and her personality, if it helps. It is>/I> a MLPersona (I use that instead of ponysona, or dragonsona, as I just it better), so the personality is based on me, but I have added enough to make her an OC rather than just "me in dragon form". People tend to forget that a good self-based character/outright self-insert has the flaws of yourself along with good qualities.
Heh heh, once again I am the same. My character has a cave in the Everfree Forest that is filled with pony-related treasures rather than gems and gold, and she visits it every now and then while visiting her Pegasus friend, and she does (distantly) bare witness to some canon events, but also never actually interacts with those events nor the mane six.
I just don't like the comics in general, bar the "Friends Forever" series, and "The Return of Queen Chrysalis". won't go into details right now, as that is another rant, but I will say that I'm glad they are non-canon. Yeah, I don't get involve in shipping wars, and I dislike the reasons most people ship people, such as them being opposite sex friends, same sex friends, enemies, characters who shred one scene together, characters who have never meet, it's ridiculous. I just like the pairings I like (which are mostly non-canon), and that's it.
Well, thank you again ^_^.
