i really like this because its a stance that i rarely see Jedi in. Reminds me of when i pretended to be a jedi as a kid in my bathrobe...XD

You're right. When I looked up Jedi Knights, they all had this weird proper stances ^^ Still, this could be mid-fight dodging bullets or something ^^

yeah its a lot more realistic. The other ones seem more like pictures from a kendo match (where people stand very straight and such)

This is beautiful! I love the fluid motion in the robe and body. But are the spatterings just for a dramatic affect or is something to do with your style?

And the splatters are more for show. I add them at the end for effects as you said, possibly mimicking the ink brush style where the inks do really splatter, but mine don't >< haha
