Description Star Trek is such a huge universe, it should have it's own DA category.

Anyway, just a small doodle of Garak from Deep Space Nine... because he's cool and Cardassians look cool. And are actually fun to draw, even if they're scaly, which makes them tough.

I've only seen like, three episodes of this show, though. I'm more of a TOS/TNG girl, but just because I haven't seem much Voyager or DS9. *shrug* I'll get to it, promise. What kind of Trekkie would I be if I didn't? Though... I'm not sure that philosophy extends to Enterprise. Err...

Disclaimer: Don't own Garak, Star Trek, TOS, TNG, Voyager, DS9, or Enterprise.

Cardassians are so~~~~~ scary. I've not seen anything other than some TOS, all of TNG, and a little of VOY... But yeah. The episode where the Cardassians got Picard was on the other night... Very good...

This looks great. I think I'd have to have a lot of screencaps before I ventured to draw a Cardassian.
You should draw.....Barclay.....>>

They really are, but this one's... kind of... a good guy? Thank you!

Yeah, I spent a while staring at screencaps.
Ahaha, maybe I will!

Really? XD Cool...I wish I could watch...some form of Trek...my local TV networks keep taking it off... At least I got to see all of TNG before they did, and record several episodes.

I'm doing that now...trying to draw Locutus of Borg with charcoals...and not doing so fantastically because I couldn't find good screencaps.
You should, you should~

They just put all the serieses on Netflix for instant watch. I know Netflix is quite expensive, but it's a fairly good price for their wide selection, and it's even cheaper if one only wants to watch instant-streaming shows and movies, though that selection is more limited. In any case, I hope you can watch some Trek soon!

All the Trek serieses seem to lack good quality screencaps. TrekCore is the only place I've seen with even passable ones.

XDDD I'll look into it.

That'd be more helpful if I had high-speed internet. (Which I unfortunately still don't. ) For now I think I'm stuck with watching recorded tapes and haunting Goodwill stores for ones that have been donated. xD (Which they often have a lot of SW and ST...)

Not even Memory Alpha has good screencaps, and you'd THINK that they would...

cardassian, yey XD

hey hey, enterprise was a great concept XD just not a great...execution...til the final season... but, it certainly had its moments. any episode with jeffrey combs, for example, is worth watching. and the ones with brent spiner

Why oh why does this not have more love? D:

The style is really neat. And yes, Garak and Cardassians are cool. No debate will be tolerated on this fact.

A Cardassian?!
I... only watch DS9 because it comes on when I get home from school, and Star Trek's the one show I can do homework to when I'm home alone.
Enterprise... is only worth it for Malcom. Then they killed him. And it sucked.
I was actually a VOY girl first, but then I found TNG and abandoned ship... VOY's pretty angsty. But Paris and his half-Klingon girlfriend who's name escapes me are pretty cool. And Chakotay =
Oh! It's B'Elanna

Haha, yeeaahh... I have a weakness for evil/ambiguous characters... like... Q... and others... that I can't think of off the top of my head. But also for friendships, especially unlikely ones, so the whole Garak and Bashir thing... yus. XD Bashir also fits my nerdy character liking thing. That I also have. Sometimes it's even awesomer, when the character is evil/ambiguous AND nerdy.
Haha, I've tried to do homework to Trek before, but I can only manage it with TOS, and then only because I've seen those episodes, like, fifty times. XDDD
Eugh... Enterprise is so bad... but yeah, actually, I remember seeing an episode (back when I didn't know any better) and going, "hey, that Malcolm guy is pretty awesome." If I'm thinking of the right guy, that is. XD
Oh, I remember that my mom used to love to watch VOY when it was on... though I think it was still reruns, but they hardly even show those anymore. Haha, I remember thinking B'Elanna was the captain when my mom was watching it because she always seemed in charge and bossy. Watching an episode more recently, though, I feel drawn to Seven of Nine and the Holographic Doctor, and yes, I do mean as a pairing. I hear they had a ton of chemistry and the Doctor may have had a thing for her, but they ending up pairing her with Chakotay. :/ Oh well.

Yeah, THAT made me mad. Janeway and Chakotay were meant for each other! ... and I did really like the Seven/Doctor pairing. They share the whole "I look human, I sort of act human, but am I really human enough to classify myself as human?" issue and had pretty good chemistry to boot!
Do you get the SPACE network? Because it runs reruns of all the Treks, though I haven't seen Enterprise reruns in a while and VOY comes on at really weird times now. SPACE... is awesome. They're running the entire four seasons of new Doctor Who at 8 every weekday night, and then the current season on Saturdays. They have everything... Stargate, Sanctuary, Merlin! Wednesdays are now love. DocWho followed by Merlin = two hours of pure awesome!
Malcom's the Brit. He's also the handsomest by far of them all. I know they set Trip up to be the hot/slutty "Kirk" (he even looks a bit like Kirk... blondes.)of the show, but I prefer mine dark and with accents
Yeah, TOS is best for homework ... DS9 is okay, but I haven't seen enough of TNG so I actually have to pay attention to the plotlines and characters. (DS9 = I don't really care enough )
I would throw Odo and that what's his name Feringi in that "ambigous" category. Also Seven, in the beginning. Actually, in the beginning, she was just evil... then she was ambig, then went evil for one ep (but it wasn't really her fault)... and ended as good(ish).

Oh, and seperate topic... Now that I've mentioned it, have you ever seen Merlin? You should!

Looks like the writers destroyed two pairings for the price of one! >:[
No, I don't get SPACE, but I have heard of it. I get This, which is a branch channel off of FOX, and that shows Stargate SG-1 at irregular intervals, and sometimes the CW shows... um... DS9 and TNG, I think. I've never stayed up late enough to see. FOX used to show Merlin, but I never watched it. I have a hard time remember when stuff is on on TV other than stuff that I've watched since it started. Like House. So, I've only seen like, half an episode of Merlin but it looks pretty good... if the inaccuracies make me cringe like the annoying mythological purist that I am. MERLIN IS NOT THE SAME AGE AS ARTHUR. ARTHUR WASN'T RAISED A PRINCE. AHSROINVIEWRIGFTH.
Yes, dark-haired fellows with accents are love. I can actually stand the blond ones sometimes, like Kirk, but usually only when in a scene/ongoing friendship with someone else awesome who fits other criteria, like Spock. So, what I mean by that is, if there's one part of a pair that I automatically like, I usually (almost invariably) grow to like the other half of the pair. Because strong, long lasting friendships do things to me in my heart. 83 Painful, wonderful things. Okay, gonna stop being creepy now.
TNG is so awesome, I can't even-. Buhwah. XD Like I said, I've barely seen DS9, but it seems to me that I'd probably pick, like, three characters and REALLY like them and then just be meh about the rest. Like... Sisko. Mehhhh. Or the whole Dax and Worf thing. Mehhhhhhhhh. Worf is awesome, though.
Odo seems to be really cool. From what I've seen, he reminds me of Javert from Les Miserables. I'm ashamed to say I can't really get past how ugly the Ferengi are. :/ But at least they mostly have sly, skulky motives for good and evil acts, so they're not exactly posterchildren for 'beauty underneath'.
Also, yes, Seven is awesome. Always. Forever. XD But especially with the EMH because I am a hopelessly romantic nerd.

But, on the topic of Merlin, Netflix actually has season one to watch instantly, so maybe I'll just go download it and watch a few episodes.
