Description
was inspired to do this because of a short conversation with:and wanted to show quickly how I added filters to my drawings, here it's very slight, red/brown ones,
some I use are way more intense if I check the one I used for the approaching storm (light green and yellow one) on uru in my comic, which makes Uru look so light! xD
I.... more or less consider the darker gradient like filter... much more like a nice add to the shading, but since it's not the same color than it... thought close.
I do not speak english all the time... I believe I didn't do too much mistakes and it's quite understandable... or I hope x3
it's late, goodnight peoples.

It is very funny to play with, the sad part is when I draw in TLK style I try to match it, so very little play (rarely more than 2 filter layers)
while I have so much fun with my other arts ^v^

Yeah I know how you feel! I do love the lion king style but there isn't much room for play is there

thanks, it's a very quick thing in fact... I don't have much examples on simple pictures like I used, so there isn't green or very apparent filters, it's delicate...
meh, still here I think it is helpful

I am the queen of layers. I use so many sometimes.
I am trying other styles of adding value. I have been on this soft painting fix lately that is then toned over with a color. I like to davel and not stick with just one. I have not found one that I 100% like for digital. Traditonal I could do without a second thought.Β

Me too, just look: mydlas.deviantart.com/art/Layl⦠mydlas.deviantart.com/art/Fox-⦠huge amount of filters in that xD
But for TLK style, I have to match it and very often there is almost nothing to do, not even shading, especially at night scenes.
the important is to think of how we'll shade so that you don't have to fix the colored lineart too much :S

Oh yeah here is one of my more layered ones.Β Leior Bust
No they dont, so its hard for me to simple like that. Heavy in traditional first, so its hard to simplify.
I do my colored lines last I leave them black till the end. Sometimes I will do the shade overtop the lines all depending on what the piece needs.

yeah, I do it under so that I don't have to make it hard for me, then I color the line after.
^^thought, when painting I am all on the same layers.

I go under and then will move it on top. I tried it once I think that was my least favorite.Β

Well, what I do is that I keep the coloring for the least, or I color with base colors when I have one for the lineart, then I shade the lineart by hands
