Description
Charlie Bucket (c) Roald Dahl.Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (c) Tim Burton.
This is the protagonist from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Charlie Bucket. I tried putting a lot of symbolism into this piece. He's holding a bucket full of cabbages to indicate his poverty, since he and his family live off cabbage soup every day. The bucket is a reference to his last name, and the one in the background has the silhouette of Scotland, his home country. There is a 5-pound bill on the ground, along with a golden ticket. The bill represents his former poor life, while the golden ticket is literally his ticket to a hopeful, rich, prosperous future.
Enjoy the cute-ness of this picture. What is to follow may fall quite short from cute and border into the realm of creepy.
This was colored with copic markers and the sky was edited with Paint.

Ah, nice work mate...
But, though in either the book, 70's , or even realistically ,05's film's version(which is a factor here), like oddly, how could they -his family-be in poverty when at least people in similar stances can even try to live a "normal" life although money is scarce, kinda gives off a weird feeling,almost....
charlie's also Scottish? Hmm, if you think that he's of Scotland descent, okay ,I won't mind.... But, keep up the work kid.....
