Oh my god I was thinking the same thing the other day. I couldn't deal with seeing drawings of people shipping the Batter or Zacharie with a real person. I just keep telling myself a bigger let's player won't ever play it because there are way too many random encounters.
As much as I'd love for Off to get super popular it's really only got such a great fan base right now because it's pretty tiny and rather active. A sudden flood of people would change everything...

Lol. Batter& Zacharie are the bishounen magnets in the fandom. PFFFFT but you'll have to forgive as I made an OC for Dedan. Though I'm keeping quiet about it, I'm not gonna flood the fandom with OCxCanon. XD
I really hope no Let's player is gonna discover the game, OR an OFF fan telling them about it. =A=

The problem with the bigger let's players aren't even really the people playing the game. I mean they might not take it seriously enough, but that's ok I guess. It's just some of them have such a vocal fan base... Some that feel everything should be connected to that one let's player they really like. I mean it might be possible for one of the bigger lets player to actually play Off but it kinda demands respect. I'm not sure if that would even be the type of content the audience of something like that would want.
There is also the issue that a lot of Off isn't outright said. I mean the first time I played it I didn't even consider that maybe Valerie was used to make Zacharie's new 'Judge' mask. It just seemed super weird that he had it. I didn't even stop to think about where he got it from till after I was done.
The game just seems like a difficult let's play overall for a lot of reasons...

That's what I'm worried about, they'll take the game as some kind of bad joke to them, while we OFF fandoms understand the concept of the game, I fear that the let's players are just gonna give it a bad name. I really thought Kingdom Hearts is going to be safe until Pewds took notice of it, it just crushed my heart that one of the best games are going to be flooded with him on it. Horror games, I can tolerate for Pewds, but please, not the ones with a very concrete storyline.
Actually, I've already hinted it out myself that he's wearing Valerie's mask, where else can he get the smiling cat face. I tried not to think about it, but it just couldn't be ignored. I really believed Zach did that to Val's face. I also like the fact that Sugar is Enoch's daughter(although there is no evidence as to how, but I guess Zone 3 hints it out?? )

I stopped playing Off for a few days so I didn't put it together like a lame-o ; ^ ;
God seriously the game is just great, I have a feeling it's only a matter of time before more people figure that out too but I'm just going to enjoy the fandom how it is now while it lasts. I hope that if it does get big that people still understand what made it so good in the first place. And that it doesn't just degrade into memes and shipping bait..
