Another awesome piece of water color art done by you. I like the fact that not only did you make the beak have lots of color but you also made the feathers on the toucan have lots of colors. The only issue I see with this is the fact that parts of the color seems to be out of place. Again this not your fault as the artist because you are using water color paints and that is usually the issue with the paints itself. Keep up the awesome work that you do. I thank you for asking me to critique your toucan you have done. I hope I do not seem hard on you on this critique I have done.

I am open to all opinions and critiques so yours in fair. I have been meaning to reattempt this piece for a friend who wants one. Yea i honestly didn't like how the piece came out soo much but then again it is different and interesting which are part of abstract

Interesting composition. Your style is something I have never really seen before, but I have to say I like it.
For something to work on: it loos like you use a pencil to sketch and then paint over it. Try erasing the lines right before you paint over them. The way it is now, it just doesn't look very neat, like a kindergartener coloring outside the lines. Seeing a crisp pencil line under a blotchy paint line does not strike me as professional.
Other than that: you have a good eye for where to put each color. I see nothing that strikes me as garish, which is always a risk when using so many bright colors. I also get an idea of the bird's anatomy under the colors.
Overall, a nice piece with some minor flaws.

Yea i know what you mean, that was the reason why i didn't care the piece much myself. I tried constantly to erase the lines but i guess the lead in my mechanical pencil was a hard lead or something because it never wanted to fully erase and then i thought well maybe with the water and paint it would erase or fade more but that didn't happen. So i was tempted to do another layer of paint and make it darker but then the painting would start bowing with all the added water as well as you would probably be able to spot the added paint. So i just left it, but i have been planning to attempt it again just been too busy

Thank you that makes me feel a little better because my first reaction was the colors were not bold enough and it seemed a little unclear which is why I planned on attempting it one more time
