Description
Recently done for Vernian Process - the original painting is 48x24 inches in acrylic on birch panel. The details are tiny, with a lot of single-hair brush work done.
There are polar bears the size of dimes, swirls and twirls the size of pin-heads, needle-thin ropes and lines, and a ton of details and hidden images hidden within hidden images - made so that its owner can find many, many new things throughout the years.
Artwork is never finished, only abandoned - though the prints are available now, the painting may see some additional work before I finally let go of it.
20x10 Metallic prints, and PRESALES on 12 from each of the giclees on canvas, giclees on Rag Paper, and Large Metallic Prints are available in my store . Though I hand-sign all limited edition prints, and hand-embellish my signature on all canvas giclees, only #s I, II and 1-10 of these limited editions will be hand-embellished.

This artwork really fits behold the machine, the perspective here, and the fact that the airship and monster are beside it, gives it a feeling of size. As in, it looks very big, and it adds to the feeling of the song.
Everything in here also seems to draw your attention towards the machine too, the monster looks at it, the airship is headed towards it, just everything here is so well thought out.

Hes Brian Figueroa. He plays alot of instruments, so he plays whatever instruments no one else in the band can play. Hes in the bottom left corner on the Promotional poster... thing. Also, why did it take you that long to respond? Were you so in shock it took you a year to respond? XD

This is wonderful, emphasis on the "wonder". Very rich and I can almost feel the cold and hear the creak of the rigging in the polar wind

I just realized that for some reason I used the reversed image version here. I don't remember why... maybe I thought it looked better at the time. I guess I'll have to switch that out sometime tonight ^_^

I can't wait to see what you do for Cherie Priest's new book! Looked thru some of your other pieces and noticed you telling someone about that I recently read Boneshaker and loved it. It more than anything else has really made me fall in love with the whole Steampunk genre

I can't remember if I discovered her through Warren Ellis, or someone else, but whoever pointed me her way I am glad they did. She didn't even know I was a fan of hers when she contacted me... that was pretty nice

That is my favorite VP song. And this is just breathtaking! Single-hair brush work - wow. It's awesome that you included hidden images. I can see a couple, I think. I can only imagine the level of detail visible viewing the art first hand. Amazing.

Thank you ^_^
I think the easiest to see at this level are the grim reaper, the angel, the mermaid, the birds, and the secret devil sign- most of which contained in the far right iceberg (except for the reaper).
There are a hundred some hidden skulls in the waves, ice, sky, and stars - and the far left iceberg with the crashed pod makes for a man with goggles and a labcoat. The rest are too hard to spot at this zoom level, but there are many more things ^_^
