Description Spotify Controls 2.1
Allows you to control various controls in Spotify, and shows you various information about the song currently playing

You NEED to have a plugin called SpotifyPlugin.dll (Plugin forum post: rainmeter.net/forum/viewtopic.… ) or else the skin won't be able to do anything at all really.

NEW FEATURE/S
Removed the useless !Execute command
Added the ability to change button colors
Changed the way the skin is located, all my skins will now go into the folder called Mylbp2ps3's Skins and then my skins will be in there.

Fixed:
Song Title and such not changing colors when changing "Main Color"

Few problems with the skin, the buttons work fine, along with the timeline
but the text wont change color, and the album cover wont load currently, it looks like this: i.imgur.com/KThoNgt.png (I had to highlight it because the text wont show up on my white background
How do you change the cutoffs of the text like in the image? those are all of my questions, everything else works fine

Hey Comba7000,
First of all thanks for downloading my skin!
Secondly, thanks for bringing that issue to me, I've now updated the skin so the text will change colors according to what the MainColor is, as it was supposed to all along
The album cover should we working fine, although it might need a refresh or a bit of changing songs to make it work. Enjoy!

UPDATE: Combining it with the spotify player from the required plugin, its album cover is loading, but the one in this skin doesnt load. Combining the controls with the skin makes a good combination, though i.imgur.com/7iDfFQK.png

Hey, sorry for the late response, school has been pretty busy. I'll try and see if I can see what's causing this. I would try to first update the SpotifyPlugin.dll (Plugin forum post: rainmeter.net/forum/viewtopic.… )

Hey, sorry for the incredibly late answer, have been kinda busy. I would think that you would only need to refresh it, and maybe try to change the song a couple of times.

To refresh the skin, simply right click on the album cover (which is just a gray disk, when it doesn't work) and click "refresh skin"

Should be updated now, youll find that option in the .ini file called Colors.ini under the "Configure Skin" folder

Haha, glad it worked am going to release another version soon, which might fix that issue, but there is another fix, you can just right click the skin, and uncheck "keep on screen" the reason I make the skin that wide is because I want all of the letters in a song to fit in it.

Hey, I hope you get this!
I got everything working, but the artist/title/song seems to be stuck on the left. almost like it's stuck in a box. Fix?

mylbp2ps3 In reply to Ostronbarnet [2015-05-21 12:04:03 +0000 UTC]

You have to download a plugin called SpotifyPlugin.dll (Plugin forum post: rainmeter.net/forum/viewtopic.… )
Then you should just be able to load the skins and ofc turn on some awesome music on Spotify and then enjoy

But if downloading that plugin doesn't work, then you can just get back to me with more details

mylbp2ps3 In reply to austinlud0813 [2015-05-10 02:36:24 +0000 UTC]

Okay, this should work:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[MeterSongName]
Meter=String
MeasureName=MeasureSongName
X=450
Y=50
W=1000
H=50
FontFace=#CurrentFontFace #
FontSize=30
StringAlign=CenterCenter
AntiAlias=1
FontColor=#CurrentMainColor #

[MeterArtistName]
Meter=String
MeasureName=MeasureArtistName
X=0r
Y=40r
FontFace=#CurrentFontFace #
FontSize=30
StringAlign=CenterCenter
Clipstring=2
DynamicWindowSize=1
AntiAlias=1
FontColor=#CurrentMainColor #

[MeterAlbumName]
Meter=String
MeasureName=MeasureAlbumName
X=0r
Y=40r
FontFace=#CurrentFontFace #
FontSize=30
StringAlign=CenterCenter
Clipstring=2
DynamicWindowSize=1
AntiAlias=1
FontColor=#CurrentMainColor #
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can try and mess around with the X and W values
