No, I'm from Philadelphia in Pennsylvania! I love it at SCAD and I'm very happy with all the classes I'm taking and have taken. I would heartily recommend it to anyone who is serious about a career in the arts, especially sequential and storyboarding. There's a whole sequential major and a whole storyboarding minor!
There's a really heavy workload in most classes, though, so make sure you're up to speed with your time management skills! :U

how did you get settled down there? Do you live on campus or on your own? How much is it?

I drove down with all my stuff and moved into the dorms. I have an academic merit scholarship that decreases if i move off campus so i'll be living in the dorms my whole time here. They're not bad at all.
It's pretty expensive but they're good about loans, scholarships and financial aid. you'll have to talk to one of the financial advisers to really get an estimate of how much it'd cost.

There are plenty of part-time options, again you'd have to check into the offices and administrators and stuff to get most of the specifics. :V

Somehow I find the fact that Peko is there to be rather hilarious.
Hilarious, Mad, hilarious.
And this is glorious. Really top notch work. Great panel variation and skillful use of black, white and grey. Really appealing designs, and your style really shines; even in the mech's fingers I can see the same motion and curves in human and cactus hands.
And when I first saw the mech I thought THERE IS A PUG IN THERE.
But I was wrong.
