OH god help me this is the most beautiful piece of art I've seen in the longest time. And it's quite inventive... the stark contrast of the two-dimensional squares against the gorgeously lighted three-dimensional work is... creatively rendered to say the least. I quite enjoy the way in which you incorporated a feeling of movement between the two planes- the 2d and 3d one- by having the character on the left 'bite' one of the squares.... The technical work is well done, too.
I do have a question, how is it that you used both acrylic and pencils? Those two mediums do not mesh...

You factored in the squares perfectly. And Im glad you added the shading for them as well. It gives this piece an added sense of depth that works wonderfully with the underwater vibe.
There's just so many parts to this.
Great job.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this piece gives me a sense of organized chaos, "a method to the madness" sort of sensation. Was that your intention or was this work more ad lib than anything else?

Great piece and congrats on the DD! I think a better name for this work would be "Attack of the Wheat Thins!"

It looks very similar to Salvador Dali's painting called, Inspiration In Many Forms.

This is fucking wonderful. I love the owl in the background and I like how you change the planes of the squares from background to foreground or vise-verse. And good work on the drapery n shadows as well.
