hello, this is nice. but maybe we could do more by making the thread visible. I mean, the dark stitch is supposed to be the thread right? so we should make it dashed like this: _ _ _ _ _ _

I think after shrinking the selection, change selection to path, then stroke the path with appropriate brush. I will try it and let you know the result

That's a great idea! I have thought about a stich like that but the only idea i had was to do it manually. I did not think about the paths. Thx for reminding me bout them. I mostly neglect them in my gimp work
