Description
This painting was requested by =Nesi , who wanted something visual inspired from his poem, In This Silence . His visual interpretation of this (what he asked of me) is slightly different from the finished product. Unfortunately, since the paint is still extremely wet, I'm having a hard time photographing it without some sort of glare. In a week or so I should be able to capture it much better, and then I'll offer it as a print if you so desire, Nesi.

All of the imagery has specific metophorical meaning, as well as a certain connection to the poem itself. The only real divergence is the dying trees, instead of the decaying roses. For me, this seemed to suit a more interesting visual composition.

As the paint is still drying, I'm sure I'll make changes and refine a lot of the image, so constructive critiques are more than welcome.

UPDATE: Much better digital photo taken... though there still is a bit of glare at the top, it's much more true to life. I'll take a few more in a week or so and see if I can't get a better shot.
