Here's a quick 3 hour acrylic on canvas I did yesterday for my doodle. My sister and I watch the show Merlin, and so I did this from memory to see if I could get it accurately. I haven't checked yet if it's wrong.And yeah, I'm going through a blue phase.

wow! that's amazing!! it only took you three hours???? i like how you've made the dragon and the wall behind merlin lighter from the light from the torch. it's given it a more real feel to it.

I've wanted to see that show forever, but I keep missing it
love the colors, they add to the atmosphere of the cave, and give it that 'magical' quality that brown and grey just don't have

I like the show, too. I have to say though, the dragon is golden. But the sense of scale is just right.

haha, I haven't yet checked to see how inaccurate I am, but yeah, I've forgotten exactly how the dragon looks, so I sort of went with the flow...

Oh no, I recognized the scene instantly! Your memory is admirable accurate. And I know what you mean, I paint a character of a friend and forget their emblematic two-handed sword . . .
p.s.: Shouldn't the third season be about to start?

Thanks! I'm glad you like it! I had fun trying to remember how the dragon scenes looked.. but the light always stood out as pretty distinctive to me.
