Description Arthur runs camelot after he pulls the sword from the stone to win the kingdom... The magician to Arthur is Merlin, and he's the famous wizard of the time. Arthur gets control of the kingdom through mostly warfare and pyrotechnics and sorcery, and Camelot is the shining gold happy city. The round table (round because no one chair is more important than the other) warriors, including lancelot (in the picture) are bored and at home, getting fat and makin babies, and they get restless. Lancelot falls in love with Guinevere, Arthur's wife and the queen... and have an affair, but they both love Arthur too, so this makes them really quite sad about the whole thing. Luckily, Arthur has come up with the quest for the holy grail, and thus the round table warriors pack their shiny metal bits, and go back to questing. Guinevere, however, wants a proper farewell, and so she steals Merlin's time device and takes a few hours to say goodbye to Lancelot properly.

The above is just a small summary of the Arthurian legend, with the last sentence being a silly added detail by me.

I started out looking at the Lovers Packs during the sketch phase, but when I was doing the colorwork, I wasn't looking at the photos - this is mostly doodling during the holiday events and such. I'm working on a storybook illustration style, and so this is mostly fun practice as usual.

Thanks for lookin!

Well you can use my idea for anything you like.

Anyway I was wondering if you could draw a picture base on a Untold story I am writing which is a Untold story about how Merlin raised Arthur when he was a little boy before he pulled the sword from the stone like I was wondering if you could draw Arthur as a eight year old boy with Merlin who looks like Gandalf but with green robs and a hood and Arthur has shaggy blond hair blue eyes and is wearing a green tunic and They are sitting Β in front of fire place in the living room of Merlin house and Merlin has the boy snuggled in his arms.Β

I absolutely love this piece. If you don't mind me saying it actually reminds me of one of my favorite artists Josephine Wall. She has a lot of color and little details that are exquisitely executed. You've mastered that very same artistry.

Wow, I love the idea here! Ah, Lancelot and Guinevere... stealing some time for lovin' whenever they can. That's nothing new--but I've never heard of Merlin's time device being involved. Lovely! And the mystical aspect of the wheel and fairy magic--very nice. I also like the little detail of Lance's escarpe/sabaton sticking out from under Guin's gown.

The runes mean something?
It is very beautiful.
Imho the colours are too soft. I don't know if it was your intention or it is your scanner or my monitor.
Of course, it is great

It could be too soft, I did go lightly with some of the glowy areas... then again, I'm not sure what it looks like on your monitor either

I'm glad you like it... I forgot to upload this, thanks for reminding me. The rune translation: [link]

I'm just curious...but the is the way she that she messes with time a "Time Turner"? Like the one Hermione gets in Harry Potter, 3rd book? I'm just weird, I know, but I could swear that's what's on her wrist in this picture. (Lovely picture, by the way )
