Description
Oi mates! This was hard. I am not used to do 'furry Pokémon' since I am not a big fan of them. Well, at least not how certain people portray them. However, I have to admit that Zangoose, Zoroark and Lucario are pretty cool lads. Anyway, back to my fan evolutions of Scorbunny! The sports theme is quite strong here. I even added a sort of 'hero theme' to them. First off, the middle evolution is all about restoring fallen teammates using electricity, much like how a defibrillator works. Being based on a sports medic, this fellow is very thoughtful and kind and its fiery heart shows a lot of empathy and sympathy, even for its enemies.
The final evolution is very serious and competetive and only goes up against foes its own size and power. The horns on its head charges electrical power and can get incredibly hot. But why on earth would a rabbit have horns? Well, the horns comes from the inspiration of the Jackalope. A mythological animal from North America. Okay, but what about 'the superhero look'? Thank you for asking! The costume design comes from a character from the Victorian Era in England. 'Spring-heeled Jack' was first reported to be seen in 1837. He was later spotted in the suburban areas of London, even ranging all the way to Scotland. His appearance was diabolical and his eyes resembled 'red balls of fire', which works perfectly for a fire Pokémon. He could also leap very high into the air so that is strike two, being both a fire and a rabbit Pokémon. Look him up, its quite the interesting urban legend!
The typings for these chaps are Fire, Fire and Fire/Electric. The Fire/Electric dual-type has never officialy been made before and it just makes so much sense for Scorbunny to become that typing. Charging electricity when jumping and bouncing around is such a perfect fit!
