lol. I just realized  now that this looks twofold  ..
It's like a robbery. Bats pull off attention, and Fluttershy steals apples.

She has got to help feed her mass of animal friends somehow. Plus trying to be sneaky in this way, maybe one of her hidden thrills in life. ^.^

I do like the idea of her using bats to help be a distraction.

Aside from that, I feel I do get the general idea of this drawing. She used his cart to get through the woods in secret. And is sneaking back out of it, now that she is through the woods. Why would she do this rather than ask for a ride? Because she is Fluttershy, and I'm sure she was likely afraid to ask. Afraid for up to two or more reasons. One, not wanting to confront him directly and bother him with what she may want. Two, not wanting to be looked down upon for being afraid to just walk along side of him rather than hiding.
