Description
Blinded by their masks, but still able to see, these two Twins look into the past, the present and into the future. They can see beyond the realm of the mortal and are not traceable in time.A painting I did for my dearest friend Betelqueze
This piece means a lot to me, I dedicated it to Betelqueze earlier on because he suggested I made them twins, rather than only one girl with a mask.
I think I spend over 30 hours on this piece, close to 40 maybe? I have no idea really! xD lost count earlier on. I enjoyed every moment of working on this piece though ^^

hard work catches up to talent when talent isn't working hard ^^
Though I gotta admit, there are people out there that wouldn't get as far with the same amount of hard work as the 'talented' ones. Doesn't mean that those born without this so called talent, that possibly gives a head start, cant get anywhere though, or can't become good at all.

why? it's not like only one of them can only look at one of those 3 things. They can do it all at once and whenever they please they take a look at whatever they need to.

not saying they can't, but with what your describing, it fits an old trope that has existed through out Europe for over two thousand years (really) in various forms, and it was typically 3 women. Now doing it your own way is just fine, it just reminds me the of the norns and the like is all.
Though with the horns they kinda remind me of disguised dragons.

Both characters appear realistic and are well designed -- when I see this picture, I find a sense of enigma, mystery. I also like the effects of the "glass" shattering and the monochromatic grayscale color scheme.

I have been fond of the kind of art that carries a deep meaning, or the meaning is open to the interpretation of the viewer. With all of the effects in the picture, you definitely worked hard on this to give these twins the visible aspects of being timeless.
And the time you used to work on this was also well used.
