Description
Blinded by their masks, but still able to see, these two Twins look into the past, the present and into the future. They can see beyond the realm of the mortal and are not traceable in time.A painting I did for my dearest friend Betelqueze
This piece means a lot to me, I dedicated it to Betelqueze earlier on because he suggested I made them twins, rather than only one girl with a mask.
I think I spend over 30 hours on this piece, close to 40 maybe? I have no idea really! xD lost count earlier on. I enjoyed every moment of working on this piece though ^^

Intense! I like the shatter effect, and also how the one with dark skin has light hair and a light mask, and the one with light skin has dark hair and a darker mask

hehe thanks! ^^ They are kinda like opposites of each other and always a pair. Their masks are supposed to be the same colour though, but since the light skinned Twin is placed more in the back I made her a little darker than she actually is, including her mask, to make the painting read better ^^ Otherwise she would be taking too much attention from her beautiful dark sister who is in the front 
fun fact: the painting started with 2 colour schemes for one masked girl. I couldn't chose and that's when my friend suggested I'd turn them into twins ^^

It makes sense, if the masks were the same value they'd look like they were side by side, the darker colors pushes the fairer skinned twin back 
Well I definitely like the twins, it worked out great, the mirror-like composition is eye-catching
