It's not exactly what I imagined, but I live in a tiny area of Iowa, which was mentioned. The title caught my attention, Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad) wrote a mysterious (to me) song called "Country Road." I don't know a thing about photography, but this image works for me.

Interesting about the Grand Funk thing... because being from Michigan and all... I'm pretty aware of them I was also in my prime when they during the heyday. Somewhere from my stored memories... I probably even heard them perform but those were strange times.

This is Iowa. It has to be. Those lovely back roads just south of I-80, just south of Iowa City. Beautiful. I love the vintage look (it also looks like I'm looking through a dirty, dust-covered windshield), although it makes me want to reach up and scrub my monitor clean.

It is Michigan and there are a zillion such roads here. The vintage look is so close to the truth of being here in this area. Thanks for that great comment!
But it could be Iowa, or Nebraska, or Indiana, or Wisconsin. Our country is not known for these kinds of places and yet, is make up mostlyof them.
