I do too, I just wish the blooms could last longer, it is a stunning tree, strong.

I love the magnolia except for the mess it leaves and the smell of the dead leaves. It has a very distinct odor when it dies.

You mean the movie, Steel Magnolias? Yes, I know that. I was born in Alabama and am very familiar with women like that. Southern women are very special.

it's funny that the magnolias would be almost done here and just blooming there! Maybe a different species.

I'm going to plant a magnolia tree in my yard here this summer. I think i need a sunny spot.

funny you should say that. I've decided to plant one in my yard here. I have to look up if they need a lot of sun. My yard is kind of shady.
