I did some digital touchups at the end; added some highlights, darkened the background and slightly altered the color sliders, but it's mostly a traditional watercolor painting. I post sketches and WIPS of my process on twitter!

That twitter thread was just for fun, so it's very casual and doesn't include all my steps. Maybe if there's demand, I'll make an actual step-by-step of my watercolor progress some time.
