One thing I noticed, the stanked forms of the Students seem to relate to their interests. Julian likes dark and creepy so, Spider. Dave likes the accordian, so he got accordion arms. Buttermaker likes the water so, Fish monster. The one hole in this theory is that Debby Kang's form looks like a porcupine, not a Mexican Death Bear.
