This was originally going to be the second-to-last warrior, but I thought "hey, put it on before you lose it." So here we are.

Okay here's what I think happened to Sly. After his battle with Le Paradox, Sly ended up in ancient Egypt. There he just wandered until he found an old temple, he decided to rest there, not knowing that his ancestor Slytunkhamen had been following him. When he caught up with Sly and questioned him, Sly told the whole story starting from his parents death to
the battle across time. khamen (my nickname for Slytunkhamen) became amazed at how his descendants were all successful thieves. Slytunkhamen decided to do something risky, he gave Sly an Anubian Immortality Charm, allowing Sly to be frozen in time, never age, never die, until the charm is removed. But, there is a catch, a strong emotion must be powering the charm to give it's immortality effect (cough, Clockwerk, cough) in this case, his love for Carmelita, and his brotherhood towards his gang. So Sly ended up having to wait, for over a millennia, to end up back in his time, along the way, meting with his ancestors and training under them: Blacksmithing from Slaigh, sword fighting from Henriette and Galleth, Sushi and Ninjitsu from Rioichi, Guns from Tennessee, a bit of magic from Salim, mechanical skills from Otto, even tech skills from his great uncle Bruce O'Coop. He even worked out with Slaigh to match even Murray's strength. Plus he can now summon claws on his gloves and boots so he can scale walls like Bob. But, along the way, he realize something: if he wanted a relationship with Carmelita, one of them would have to give up their professions. We all know Sly can't just waltz back in and say: "I'm sorry". plus Carmelita has been a cop for years, I don't think she'll give it up that easily, besides, Sly managed to swap back to his thieving ways no problem, A luxury Carm does not have, Sly is now a shadow of what he once was. It'll take a lot to bring Sly back to his regular self.

P.S. 1. I based his from after the Ultimate Sly costume (just blue), plus I got the trench coat idea from the cutscene in the first game after beating Muggshot, he looked like he was wearing a coat, but I realized it was just his tail. 2. he can manipulate, absorb, and transform into the shadows,neat huh. 3. Did you know that Sournois Tonnelier is french for Sly Cooper?

Edit: I wanted to go for a more Egyptian theme. So I gave him black fur like a jackal (it helps him on stealth missions), his coat now takes the appearance of normal Egyptian fashion, and I made his tail rings black just because I can.
