The Loboan Member of Team NCRO: Cryonix "Cry" LobolarFirst off, I chose to do him first since I came up with everything for him first (name, weapon, symbol, and appearance).
Secondly, his appearance: I got the idea from the various types of wolves I know. Arctic wolf, werewolf, and the big bad wolf from the fairy tales. He is a specific breed of Loboan called an Arctic Loboan, he has a light blue and white based color scheme.
His sonic howl is the colors of the northern lights and he has freezing breath (to go with the huff and puffing big bad wolf). Why he can do this, maybe it's his semblance in Remnant, maybe it's a weird affect from eating Ice Dust crystals, or maybe it's a special thing specific to Arctic Loboans. I haven't really decided yet.
His weapons are a pair of clawed gauntlets and greaves. The gauntlets can fire off ice shards and can create Ice claws. While his greaves can surround his hind-claws with ice and fire off ice blasts for propulsion or to walk on water like Jesus. Maybe he can even use them to create ice skates or something.
His symbol is supposed to be a claw in he shape of icicles.
I still need a few ideas for the other guys. I was probably gonna do the Ectonurite next, I need a name symbol and weapon suggestion.

Hmm… Ectonurite… Om'Mnyzs (Ominous) Phaentina…
symbol could be a something related to ghosts or Ghostfreak since he is supposedly the high ecto lord of his people…
for a weapon, it should be related to medieval execution methods since ectnurites in general seem to favor wearing nooses, wield scythes, or look like something from every ghost movie imaginable. maybe you can give this character an Axe in the shape of a guillotine in one hand, with a Tombstone in the other.
as for a ranged ability it really depends on what you are aiming for. do you want to have his character to be swift or to be a heavy hitter? But what I am thinking is maybe giving Om'Mnyzs' weapons the ability to transform into a stationary turret with the Tombstone being the stand while the axe could be either a gun or a balista crossbow (like the one that rome used during their empire)….

I wanted O to be a swift fighter.
For the weapon iIwas going to do a Scythe (just not a Sniper Scythe since I want to be original) but you gave me the idea of a balista/scythe/guillotine.
Imagine he grabs you with the scythe, then fires the balista which causes the blade to slide down the pole of the weapon, severing you at the neck. Or dragging you straight into a punch if you have a strong enough aura.
Speaking of I should really think of semblances for these guys too.

for semblances you have to remember that they technically can't be all damaged based (Ex: Ruby with speed, Pyrrha with magnet, Blake with after-images, etc). the user adapts the semblance into their battle style. not sure what you can do with that….
maybe you can have Om'Mnyzs' semblance be "Panic". The way I see it, this could let Om'Mnyzs project a feeling of sheer terror to his opponents, giving them pause. He can vary the severity of it to be flinching fear to scaring the victim to death. this could also give him the opportunity to catch his opponents with his Ballista/scythe/guillotine weapon.
The "R" of your group could have something called "Siphon". having him absorb auras of opponents and convert it to electrical energy.
as for "N" maybe an ability that coincides with Thep Kuphans' abilities with Corrodium. "Mandate" could be having limited control over Corrodium infected victims. More infected the less control over them.

This is what I get from that:
Om'Mnyzs is pretty much scarecrow from the Batman series. i may consider that.
R can absorb energy, maybe even the Aura of other people to power his electric stuff.
and what you said with N makes me wonder what would happen if a Grimm was infected with Corrodium.
Do you have any weapon ideas for R and N? Just saying, you have pretty good ideas.

For R I'm thinking a sort of steam-punk/cyber-punk style gun. Maybe like a gun in the shape of an old style Tesla Coil ( The things in old Frankenstein movies) that shoots lightening. maybe it could turn into an electrical Mace (Like hawkgirl's mace in the Justice League)
For N Something that feels like royalty like a golden Egyptian style scythe. for N I don't think He/She would need an alt. form (could be similar to Weiss). If necessary, it could have a revolver device like in Weiss' sword filled with Dust. OR! It could be filled with Corrodium it ensure infection after a strike.
and now that I think about it, it is said Corrodium infects "Organics" (things like diamondhead couldn't be infected) and so it should infect Grimm... Maybe.

R's weapon sounds nice.
We already did a Scythe, let's not get too repetitive.
Maybe a sort of pole arm (like a magic staff) or twin Khopeshs (curved Egyptian swords) for N.
Maybe I should give some character insight to help:
N: Part of a Royal family on Anur Khufos (so she leads the team), can can have a bit of a big head (has an ego, but isn't a spoiled brat like Weiss) but knows how to talk to people without being mean.
R: The Brains and Brawn of the group. One of the smartest Transylians, he's always experimenting with new "toys" as he calls them.

also, For N's weapons, I remember somewhere that pharaohs of Egypt were depicted with that curved sword and a whip/flail thing to represent their rule. That can replace the dual curve sword if you want.

I think I'll go with snake-like magical staff. Don't really know how she'd fight with a crook and flail.
We need to factor in the species' biology.
Thep Khufans are made entirely of bandages, so a weapon that would allow for quick movements would be appreciated. Nothing that flails around, they've already got to worry about their limbs. She can't worry about how much her limbs AND the weapon will bend, it just seems easier.
Most Transylians I've seen are large with lots of mechanical parts. So your mace/Tesla gun seems good.
Now I just need weapon names.

Om'Mnyzs' weapon: Final grave, Silent black, Swift Mercy
N: Royal rule, The Exodus (Moses LOL), an Egyptian god name for snake, Golden Pharaoh
Ratchet: Tesla (IDK that just sound awesome) Mary shelly(?) (The person who wrote Frankenstein), Bolt Striker, Ex Machina (that just sounds cool too), Thunder Cracker. and he can add some technical terms to it Like: "this is the type 57873-3 Model 5 _______ Rifle" Just a thought.

O can be Swift Grave (both sleek and Grimm......see what I did there)
N, I'll go with Golden Exodus. She can use Fire based dust too mimic the Sun (Ra anyone) to keep O in line, or melt Cry's (the C) Ice when he fools around too much.
I'm torn between Thunder Cracker and the Ex Machina for Ratchet. I also had the idea that his arm was blown off in an experiment gone wrong, so he has a fully mechanical arm (his weapon could be stored inside or sometime).

as for N maybe you can give her a Posh style of talking. You know, like saying stuff like "'Shall' not..., 'Mine' blade 'doth' hungers for 'thy' soul..., etc." I like to think of Anur Khufos as the wealthy part of their system, coming from "Old money" if that makes sense.
As for R, He can have a personality similar to Dr. Viktor. A Gruff way of speaking, yet knowledgeable of his craft and loyal to his leader. You can also sprinkle in a flavor of Dr. Stein from the Anime, Soul Eater, to give him that "Mad Scientist" Vibe.

I think I'll stick with magical staff for N. Maybe it can even turn flexible like a snake and she can manipulate it. Maybe with a sharp ends so she can also wield it like a sort of sword.

well, I don't think Anur Khufos believes in clothes since they are made of living bandages.
R or Ratchet can be steampunked, which is standard for most of his species, OR you can make him Cyberpunked, Sleeker look, to make him a radical type of person, even among his people.
I would watch the ben 10 omniverse episode arch when he went to anur transyl to get some inspiration for all of them.

A scythe that can create energy cuts for ranged attacks. It can have anpther blade, to be used like an axe in close fights.

one thing. All RWBY weapons have a projectile weapon for a secondary function.
We've had a Sniper-Scythe, Shotgun Gauntlets, Kusarigama Guns, Grenade Launcher Hammers, and so many more.
