Just a little idea I came up with today: What if Octopaw was an actual character?We all know about my Ideya Guardians thing, but not every character in a series has to be part of the main team. So here we have Octopaw, who is regarded as the greatest flyer/flight instructor in Nightopia. Only thing is, he's a complete wimp and a scardey cat. Literally jumping 50 feet in the air with a cloud of ink whenever someone sneaks up on him. He also has the ability to camouflage himself (based off of the Indonesian Mimic Octopus, I love those things).
The Ideya Guardians find him in Aqua Garden since they need a little help with their flying. But he isn't that keen on having few nightmarens on his tail so of course he high-tentacles it out of there, leading to a few hilarious chase scene moments. Once they finally catch him and ask for his help nicely he agrees, reluctantly. So now the renegades go to him for flight practice. Normally they find him hiding in that jar of his.
Don't worry people Octopaw isn't the only guy I'm redesigning. Owl will get his time to shine as well as a few others *wink, wink*
