An O.C. maren (sort of) villain of mine.

We all know about Selph, the boss that was cut from NiD. Since everyone seems to like him on tumblr and here on DA, I decided to join in.

Selph is the result of Wizeman wanting to test out his newest creation: Black Ideya. But he didn't want to use any of his already existing lackeys. So, he went for the one thing that scares NiGHTS' team just as much as they do and themselves, an Awaker.

No one in the Night Dimension truly knows what Awakers are or where they came from. So say their white form is supposed to represent the light that a visitor sees when he/she passes on and therefore wishes to wake up. They may be the result of people who are scared to remain asleep forever, whether it be from a coma or a possible near death situation. As a result the Awakers drag people out of the Night Dimension since they're made from the fears of people who wish to wake up. This however makes them a sort of dream creature predator; they prey on Nightpoians and Nightmarens alike and, though weak in small groups, an entire swarm could easily have a dream being erased from existence.

So, Wizeman had the idea of combining one of these little vermin with his Black Ideya to create a solider who could perfectly destroy the resistance, both physically and mentally. But, when it first opened it's eyes, all it saw was something to be destroyed. With the ability to absorb his opponents' attacks and his ability to create Awakers, he broke out of Nightmare and proceeded to feed his brethren.

Selph is a virus, an empty void of nothingness. His only goal is to consume all dreams; Both good and Bad.

How will the Dream Team react to and defeat this new threat to both sides?

I made him white since I've seen many people use that color for him, and I made up the Awaker part because, 1. I thought they fit his color scheme, and 2. I think the Awakers should've been a bigger part of the story.
