Oh, this is *wonderful*! I really enjoyed INVINCIBLE back when I was reading it regularly, and this one makes me want to go right back to it.
I love the solar flares and the freaky-trippy colors here, and the way the two of them are just *playing*. I think this kind of thing happens all the time with superheroes, because, damn it, they're people, *too*. I'd love to see more space in comics devoted to the characters just chilling out and shooting the shit and, you know, using their ridiculous god-like powers to go running around on red dwarfs.
Because why the hell not? Anyway, my super-special-favorite bits are the flippy goodness of Eve's cape and his hair and legs. He looks lean, pared-down, a little *hungry*. And I love that.

Anyway, yes, you know I'm completely with you on the need for more scenes of metahuman powers/superhuman abilities aiding hard working heroes in their quests to just go out and have a good time as only a supremely few amount of beings are ever able to. Life's either too short or too eternally long for most of those guys NOT to try to have a good time! Unconventional playgrounds all the way.
