I think that you got the colors down pretty well. But now I think that you need to focus on creating more defined shape and depth with your colors.
I'll show you what I mean but I'm a bit busy right now so, I'll send you a note later with an image to explain.

Dang man, you know better than anybody I'm not usually a "render" happy guy, but I think you've found that niche, and it's a beautiful thing. REALLY, I've got a couple of drawings on the way that are screaming colab, I'll show em' to you when we get back (I am without scanner right now)...
Anyway, Great color combination that ties in with the background, I'm glad you didn't go the obvious route and use garish colors. You've kept it tied together really well.

thanks. as for how i made her glow, if i told you anything other than, "i have no clue" then id be lying... its pure luck! or maybe cause she's wearing bright colors? id ask some pros, like danimation, seed, or warlocks. heh
