WOW, would you just look at this cool guy! He practically radiates coolness, I mean, he must be a top-notch Explorer or something, right???
Yeah, so, SURPRISE! Guess who actually DIDN'T evolve into a Gallade!
Boy oh boy, the leader of Team Surprise never ceases to surprise us all, eh? 
Sillyness aside, this actually started off as "I wonder if I could make Kevin look cool/not girly as a Gardevoir", and I ended up liking the idea/design that resulted. And, hey, once I thought about it, I realized that Kevin being a Gardevoir would fit his battling style better than if he were a Gallade.
...I suppose that now the Skitty's out of the bag and all, I might as well upload all the concept sketches I've made of him as a Kirlia, eh?
...Gosh, and to think we still haven't seen his team's third member, or his brother's team either! >.<; 'Course, if you've done some snooping around, you may be able to find out a bit about them. 
Also I recycled the Magnagate from that picture of Team Scorch Beast mystic-blat.deviantart.com/art… , haha. Just thought that was worth pointing out.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and for those in Poke-Heroes-Guild , it might be worth pointing out that Team Surprise leaves the guild sometime when Kevin is still a Kirlia, and has adventures and stuff in the future. However, the comics I make of those future adventures won't be posted to the group, since Team Surprise will have left the Heroes Guild by then. So just a heads up for those in the group that may be interested in seeing those adventures.

They're only a pain to draw when they're extended! And, well, Kevin's older brother is a Gallade, and I'd have to draw him since naturally he'll have to show up sometime in the future... maybe their teams will even go on a mission or two together...

((Gosh, Midori keeps on forgetting how weak and delicate Ralts are. Haha, as a Ralts he was daydreaming of being a cool Gallade like his brother. He was probably a little more open to the idea of being a Gardevoir after being a Kirlia for a while, but I don't think he had really fully decided until it actually happened.

((Poor Kevin, Midori's trying to train his muscles when it's his mind that he excels in. Anyway, Kevin doesn't evolve into a Gardevoir in the Guild. In fact, he leaves as a Kirlia... Since the group is looking like it may not revive, I'm going to leave a small time gap between his time in the Guild and his future adventures. And I do plan on eventually making comics of those future adventures! Heheh, and there will be important characters and places and concepts to introduce.

Yes, normally dodging an incoming projectile is smart, but if you can't think fast enough with your reaction then you just wasted a better opportunity! Like here for example, you could have caught it instead and be enjoying that pie. If you only was able to think as fast as you reacted then you could be stronger! Comprende?

((Kevin doesn't have developed future-seeing abilities until he's a Gardevoir. However, his way of seeing the future is different from what you would think! He doesn't see visions of the far future or anything... No, instead, he simply has a kind of intuition on how certain actions can lead to certain events or outcomes. So, rather than seeing the set-in-stone future events, he sees possibilities! However, he can't see as far into the future as some psychics who see visions of the set future, and it tends to be a bit more vague.
So he's looking for something? And... does he know that he won't be able to write? Because if he does know, then Kevin won't be too happy to hear that when AZ tries to explain.
