Wow, thank you for the DD!
Hello everyone! Welcome to my "How to Draw: Butterflies and Moths Tutorial"! I've spent endless hours, days, weeks, working on this for you.
This is a more complicated flash program than my last one on Jellyfishes. There is a total of 166 pages/frames in this tutorial
There are 6 drawing and coloring demonstrations in this tutorial, there was 12 originally, but I had to make serious cutbacks to meet the file size limit for DeviantArt. So, the other 6 drawings will be added to "How to Draw: Moths and Butterflies Part 2"!
Since my primary information source was Wikipedia, if any of the information I provided is incorrect, please let me know and I'll try to fix it.
I LOVE to see art people make using what they learned from my tutorials! If you do make art, please feel more than welcome to post a link to it.

[EDIT] Added on a pre-loader that seems to have helped with the problems I had at first. Changed the font size and type so that text won't go off the screen for Windows users. Made fixes to some small typos.

Great work, this specially helped me with the pattern of the wings. They look random but at the end the shapes have an order.

All wings are unique in pattern and design. It should help you find a way to build each butterfly or moth pattern step by step.

This is amazing.
I have seen very few in-depth tutorials about drawing butterflies, so this is sure to be helpful for anyone who's ever wanted to draw them. I also like how you actually took time to discuss moths and butterflies separately. The step-by-step tutorials were also very helpful, I'll be sure to turn to this whenever I find the urge to draw or paint butterflies.
