Description
Can I say, holy *bleeeeeep*? o___o A DD?! Thank you so much everyone!Hello everyone!
It's my FIRST FLASH ever so I'm excited about finishing this. <3
This is a step-by-step all you need to know about how to draw a jellyfishes! 5 different jellyfish are introduced and made in this. A total of 89 pages are in this tutorial.
Credits are on the last page of the flash but as a reminder, my information source was basically Wikipedia. So if any of the information you read is incorrect, please let me know and I'll see what I can do to fix it.
Thanks a bunch! Please comment and let me know if it is helpful and what kind of tutorial you'd like to see from me next!

It's an anime. You can watch it on Netflix and it might be on Crunchyroll too. It's about this girl, Tsukimi, who loves drawing jellyfish (and them in general). Her mother died when she was little and her mother told her that she would make her a wedding dress that looked like a jellyfish that they saw at the aquarium (because they were talking about how beautiful it looked). When Tsukimi was 18 she decided to go to Tokyo (I'm not sure). Doing this, she enters a building with women who are all otakus (I guess that's the right word), like herself. Then, one day she meets this strange "stylish" (as they call them in the show). That's basically all I can say without completely spoiling it.

Thank you for this. I love drawing jellyfish but sometimes they look a bit awkward, so this is very helpful.

I'm creative a sort of alien creature and I wanted it to have the consistency of a jellyfish, so thank you very much for the tips on opacity and such - very helpful.

Yes but, humans cannot traverse the deep dark depths of the sea where the best glowy jellyfish live without being crushed to death

Absolutely. D: If only access to be able to obtain that knowledge was easy. That's why as artists we have to compensate for it sometimes... but it also allows us to create our own vision of it would be like to have such an encounter.

Your jellies are more vibrant than the actual jellyfish. I don't know if you've realized this or fixed this, but just a heads up on something to work on when doing realism.

Mysticalpchan In reply to EveningDreemer [2012-06-11 21:38:53 +0000 UTC]
I was worried about how much space the flash file was going to be and if DA could handle it. So I didn't do as many jellyfish as I originally wanted to do. xD
I could do what I'm doing for the Moth and Bfly tutorial and make a Part 2 with those jellyfish. Those 2 you mentioned are very unique in shape and color. ^_^
