Description
This is Cat Ballou, daughter of Mamacat and granddaughter of Sophie. We think this is her first litter and have seen three kittens: two small tiger-stripes like their mommy and one larger grey kitten. This one, which has a small brownish dot on his/her head, is a real "chowhound" who seems less afraid of us than the others. We're not sure of the sex, but tiger-stripes usually are male; that's why Cat was such a surprise. You can see from these pictures that she's still a scairdy cat, as she saw me standing in the doorway taking pictures. The kitten didn't care! It kept munching all the while!Mom dubbed the brave one "Rocky", saying that, if it's a girl, we'll call her "Rockette"~which is exactly what I was thinking of before she said "Rockette"! I'm not sure if the other stripey one has a brown spot, but it's interesting because Mamacat's previous kittens each had a brown spot on its forehead! I told Mom that I thought Romeow (also tiger-stripe grey) might be the father of their kittens. He's very sweet-natured, and I've submitted pictures of him here at DA.

Yes, they are! I think Rocky is getting less afraid of us, but Cat Ballou is so jumpy! Mom said that Mamacat has started liking petting more than eating=}

It seems that most tiger-stripe grey cats are male. In all of our years with cats, Cat Ballou is the first female with these markings and that coloration. Of course, we don't know what the two kittens are yet.
