I really love Frankie, she's probably my favorite, and one of the things I think is charming about her is her "newness" she's just a couple weeks old, so everything is strange and wonderful and scary to her. I like her open kind nature, but I also like thinking about things she's new to, Here she's reading a joke book, because I think humor is one of those things you might have trouble grasping as a newbie!!!I plan on making some more MH art, and some little comics!!

Oh my ghoul how cute is this? Geez! Really great I love the idea because she is so new to the world and when people like our selves read or hear jokes from old books we don't seem to find the humor because for us it's like been there done that so Frankie must be laughing her butt off!

Thanks! I do a couple things.
1. I've been practicing pretty much CONSTANTLY with my Wacom tablet, the thing is tricky to use and get used to. my hand always wants to shake and wiggle up a line! augh!
2. After doing a loose gesture pose/laying out the drawing. I do all my lines on a separate layer, in fact for this drawing I had Frankie's lines on one layer, and the room's lines on another.
3. Some of the objects I could just NOT GET STRAIGHT with my wacom pen, SO i Cheated a little, I drew them in illustrator then copied and pasted them back into Photoshop! haha
4. on a new layer UNDERNEATH the lines, I put down my flat colors for frankie and the room.
5. added detaaaails (underneath the line layer)
and thats how I did it!
