Mew comes from the japanese name "Myu", from the word "mutation". Mew and Mewtwo are based on embryos.

Mytheesaur's in Extrasensorry though. Basically, I keep getting Bulbasaur whenever I take the quiz for Mystery Dungeon and played as a Bulba through two of the games, so I've come to identify with it. So now I'm a Bulbasaur. xD

I don't have any real connection with a particular pokemon when it comes to the test for PMD. I have been a Pikachu, a Charmander, a Cyndaquil, a Chikorita, a Bulbasaur, and a Squirtle. But I guess my closest connection is a Mudkip, which I've been three times, vs. being all the others just once. However, my pokesona is "Tombreon the Umbreon." It's mostly because I'm nocturnal.
