I had such a great experience making this image. I have been gestating on the feelings and the fragments of ideas around it for a long time.

I haven't quite figured out why the digital alteration of sculpture is not more widely practiced, but I appreciate your being in its vanguard.

"A Delicate Balance" is exquisite, the perspective and original instrumentation of geometries is superb. This is a superb balance between traditional vocabulary and esoteric liminality, and very finely crafted to hold it all together.

Thanks Greg. Yes, it was great to get back to it, and satisfying to discover that my eye and hands had grown a bit. It still is a beast of a process though. I don't like drawing at my computer as much as I love being in my workshop covered with sawdust, glue, and paint. But I can't resist the opportunity to work on another level of transformation with these sculptures. Digital painting makes it possible to work with complexities that are much less amenable to traditional methods. Good to hear from you. Hope creativity is flowing in your world.
